Simply my favourite book. Start reading with pleasure after I read La nuit des temps (=The Ice People)
The others are very good too, and sometimes very different style (Merlin L´enchanteur).

Perfectly written in french, I can only recommended this author!

This was the first book I freely chose to read,it was recomended by my 9th grade teacher when I explained to her that I hated reading and had never actually read a book.She picked out this book and gave it to me.I read it in a few days ,I couldnt put it down,this book and my teacher opened me up to a life time of pleasure and I look back on both with fond memmories and thanks.

I was lucky to go to Venice and it really is as lovely as the pictures suggest. Best of all is travelling by vaporati by night along the canals.
